| FROM THE ARTIST: I am a symbolic figure
painter and much of
my current work is
about transitions – whether it’s a mid-life
juncture or coming of age. My challenge
is to visually represent intangible things,
and to capture small nuances in relationships,
life, death and love. These are universal
human subjects that I find endlessly
fascinating. Embracing our differences,
whether it’s differences in gender or race,
is a reason for celebration and the inspiration
for this painting, part of a series I call
“The Harmony Works”. |
