| FROM THE ARTIST: My country, Malaysia,
embodies the very
essence of embracing
differences. We live a harmonious and
peaceful life because of our common sharing
of cultures and mutual love of one another.
Our community shows not just the
beauty of differences, but also the brilliance and harmony of them. My painting sees the
loving union of an Indian girl (East) and a
cowboy (West). It’s a love which surpasses
all cultural differences. All that matters
is the heart. A heart that cares, is understanding,
receptive and, above all, loving. |
