FROM THE ARTIST: My work explores transcultural communication and the value of diversity. This interest stems from living in a new cultural environment and confronting language barriers. Since moving to New York, I have become very aware of the importance of being sensitive towards the differences and similarities in others. This awareness led me to an artistic realization regarding the dynamics between nationality, race and language.
