Spirits Co-joined
by Linda Hutchinson

How far you go in life
depends on your being
tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving and
TOLERANT
of the weak and strong–
because someday in life
you will have been all of these.

George Washington Carver
(July 12, 1864 - Jan. 5, 1943)
American Scientist, Botanist, Educator & Inventor

FROM THE ARTIST: My painting was from a photo I took at a bus stop in Pittsburgh. There was honest dialogue going on, as well as honest listening, and there seemed to be an interesting and honest encounter between two strangers. Refreshing.
