Carrots

by: Olesya Karakotsya, Kiev, Ukraine

The price of the democratic way of life is a growing APPRECIATION of people's differences, not merely as tolerable, but as the essence of a rich and rewarding human experience.

quote by: Jerome Nathanson, (1908 - 1975) Author & Anti-Capital Punishment Activist

Artist Statement

Our planet is big and varied; some places are hot and some are cold. Despite even the most severe climates, people are able to inhabit the most remote corners of the world.
