Embracing Our Differences

by: Taha Benadada, Sullivan, Ohio

Untangle the wind chimes of hatred so they may jingle with acceptance, HARMONIZING with the breeze of happiness.

Artist Statement

I wanted to show that our differences are wealth, and that fundamentally there are no differences between races, nationalities, religions, colors, etc. To illustrate this point I used many different character drawings, languages and writings, all centered around and embracing a white flag that symbolizes peace. This work all represents me because I am a Moroccan, Arabian, African and Muslim artist who just recently moved to the USA.
