Artist Statement

Social activist, educator and lifelong student, art lover, dog owner, mentor, over educated but not always smart, satirist, sister, daughter, niece, soon to be aunt, friend, and hopeful humanitarian – but not necessarily in that order. Each role provides insight and motivation to capture a particular moment, nuance or emotion so that I may chronicle the world around me.
