Harmony

by: Ariel P., 8th Grade, Island Village Montessori School - Venice, Florida

When I really get to know someone I think is different, I find out that we're pretty much the SAME.

Artist Statement

My artwork represents how a person can make a difference and bring life to a community, no matter how unique he or she may be. I came up with this idea from a different drawing I was making for my friends. I thought about everyone trying to fit in and that someone with new thoughts and ambitions would probably be rejected. That is why, in my art, everyone accepts the different character in harmony.
