Intolerance is like a polluted river - we need to BUILD a bridge and get over it.

Labels that separate people into groups, whether real or imagined, are merely superficial and seldom, if ever, accurately describe the complicated, intriguing and unique individual that would emerge if given the chance. There is always more to a person than his/her outward appearance. I chose the crayon because it carries a label. At first crayons seem ordinary, although they are arranged in pairs. On closer examination, the pairs of individuals don’t always form groups with others based on their outward label. A closer look reveals that even labels don’t always conform to the expected appearance. Even the labels may seem accurate on the surface, such as black, brown or white, don’t necessarily fit what’s discovered on the inside.
