Artist Statement

My artwork represents the idea of embracing our differences through life in a loving family. Each individual in a family unit has his or hers own interest and perspectives towards life. By always accommodating and understanding each other’s differences, we embrace our differences. This artwork was produced by creating the images of two different faces (seen left and right). The faces were initially painted together and then set separately in order to insert the values shared as a family. The differences we embrace pull us together as a family.
