A life without DIFFERENCES isn't a life at all.

Artist Statement

“And remember, people that no matter who you are and what you do to live, thrive, and survive, there’s still some things that makes us all the same. You. Me. Them. Everybody . . . Everybody.”- Elwood Blues

I was inspired to create this work of art after watching “The Blues Brothers.” At the end of the movie, Elwood makes the point that no matter what we do, there are still some things that “make us all the same.” It’s important to remember that you may have a different taste in music, or you may fight (like cats and dogs), but you’re no more human than the next guy. The brothers fought, but they joined together to give everybody a good time. Everybody is equal.
