Tears are Colorless

Artist Statement

The idea for Tears are Colorless comes from the concept that Tears transcend all diverse boundaries. More than perhaps any other elements of human nature, tears evoke an empathy response which is universal. Whether you’re young, old, tall or short, disabled or not, no matter what your ethnic background might be, tears rise above any petty differences compelling us to help one another, and in some small way unifying us all. Even though the images evoke sadness, there is righteousness in this unity which sadly can sometimes be missing in our day to day response to others.
