Artist Statement

As I thought of ways to portray diversity through images, I searched for things that maintained a “togetherness” as well as a variety of differences. The diverse building/people all sit in a beautiful landscape, “embracing” each other, comfortable in each of their own cultures, religions and backgrounds. The bright colors and joyful expressions bring a positivity toward the discussion of enriching lives through diversity.
