Kindness Matters

Artist Statement

“Kindness Matters” is about how a simple act of kindness can make someone’s day. Kindness is very underrated in our world but it can make all the difference. I hope this work reminds people to perform an act of kindness, either intentional or random everyday. One gets much more pleasure out of being kind than being mean. If we all started being kind to each other, to have empathy for those who are different, it would have a big impact in the world. When I paint, it’s not a physical reality I’m after but an expressive and emotional one.
