Artist Statement

Everyone all over the world has played with a toy, especially when they were young. This playfulness is one of many similarities we have as people of this world—as a kid we just want to play! Yet at the same time we are all different, playing with different toys in each country all around the world. Even though the toys are different they have the same objective—to play, entertain, and make a kid happy. Even though we all are different whether it be about religion, language, culture, or any other kind of difference between people we all strive to live and be happy. My drawing represents how we all can be together, get along and be happy.
