Artist Statement

This work shows my fascination with my country’s diversity, roots, shapes and colors. I utilized resources from artisanal fabric from the south of Mexico. The artisanal heritage in my country and the influence of the famous Alebrijes from the state of Oaxaca have an incredible and interesting coloring in their mix of shapes of animals and nature.
