Artist Statement

My cousins, two boys ages 3 and 4, were in a sea of little girls in ballet class. They were different and even at a young age, they felt awkward dancing. But the girls welcomed them with delight. Years later, one became a graphic artist and the other one never stopped dancing. One could have given up early or never start at all. Just because you're different, it does not have to stop you from doing new things. In the end, you just might succeed!
