Be a bridge of acceptance over an ocean of inequality.

I use animals, in an allegory manner, to further explore and express human nature. This painting is an allegory about immigration, migration or colonization. It asks what do we do when someone new shows up and what will they do? History has shown that sometimes the strangers are welcomed with open arms and other times they are chastised. Yet, there are times in history that have shown that it is the newcomer who is the aggressor. Using symbolism based on the European move to the Americas, it still transcends time and place.
