The media doesn't always show everything. They censor what they think are "flaws" and "imperfections." This piece represents the “touch-up” that can change the whole image; often whitewashing it to conform to artificial beauty standards. This is what people end up seeing in various media formats—missing the real beauty, the real person, behind all the digital work. No matter race, body type, or gender, people often feel less worthy than the figure projected on a flat, lifeless surface.
