"Diversity and inclusion are like the needle and thread that stitch together the harmonious fabric of peace for humankind."

I'm a modern art painter, college teacher, and Japanese/English interpreter living in Kobe, Japan. My art is inspired by the masks used in both theatrical plays and cultural celebrations performed and celebrated across the world every day. I chose seven masks to represent this diversity. A mask from Africa, a mask from Central American, a mask from Japan. These masks are gathered under one big tree, the earth, to express that "the beauty of the world lies on the diversity of its people." Let's all come together and embrace our many differences - religious, cultural, and personal - especially during these difficult times. Because we know "Being Different Gives the World Color."
