"Always remember that what looks like a hill to you might look like a mountain to another."
quote by: Kimberly Probus-Clark, Sarasota, Florida
In this digital art work, I depicted women of different nationalities with different cultures and clothing who are building a ladder to reach the other side of the wall. The steps of this ladder are made of books. I want to emphasize the role of studying and learning in the growth and empowerment of women. The wall symbolizes the obstacles and challenges women face in their lives, including gender and social inequality, discrimination, lack of access to education and employment, gender-based violence, poverty, etc. I wanted to point out that women all over the world will be able to overcome existing obstacles by cooperating and participating with each other (regardless of differences), through education and increasing their awareness. They can create a bright and hopeful future for themselves and their society, and they can live their dreams by following their goals and values.
