In this work I wanted to demonstrate the daily struggles that Black women in America encounter. This work is very special to me because I incorporated comments that have specifically been said to me. I also included very important Black women in America who have been swept under the rug by society. I created this work to bring these issues to light. This work is a collage using twine, paint, construction paper, and markers.
