"You only live once, so make it count. Make it shine, make it unique, make it different."

I have a background of working within spaces of environmentalism, drag and live performance art. This multi-modal approach to artmaking is reflective of the themes within my art - such as the complex and nuanced relationship between conceptions of nature and of queer identity. The relationships between these modes have been used to create an alternative world formed from pieces of the current one. The relationship between the body and the wilderness is highlighted through installation, make-up, paint, and performance - the relationship between humanness and nature is brought into focus, as well as the relationship between queerness and what is perceived to be natural.
