Runway for Everyone

Artist Statement

This piece depicts a runway filled with people who are different from one another in a variety of ways. It reminds me of my social environment and of my beloved ones. I wanted the piece to be very colorful because the rainbow is a symbol of each different color coming together in harmony. The idea that the runway is for everyone means that you don’t need to fit into society’s standards; it doesn’t matter what you look like or where you are from. The world is more beautiful with its differences.
