Colors of Our World

Artist Statement

We marvel at the rainbow - a beautiful arc of seven colors that merges into a spectrum of countless hues. Yet, we often overlook the beauty in our sphere of seven continents, 195 countries, over 4,000 religions, and more than 7,000 languages. We live in a world of great diversity - one that often brings conflicts with it. But the true blessing of diversity is the joy of embracing its complexities by celebrating such rich cultures, languages, ideas and opinions. The way I see it, our Earth is a colorful, vibrant masterpiece and our 'differences' are the pens, pencils and paints that bring this masterpiece to life. We can create a more harmonious, peaceful, and beautiful Earth by recognizing and appreciating these differences.
