Artist Statement

As a folk artist, I aim to highlight the profound impact of symbols on our shared history and culture. Through my art, I weave these symbols into intricate narratives, bridging the past and present. I celebrate their enduring power, inspiring appreciation for our diverse human experience. My piece extends a heartfelt invitation to celebrate diversity and promote social cohesion. Through the symbolism of the heart, representing affection and love, the piece emphasizes the importance of acceptance and unity among individuals and groups. Using the heart as a symbol of affection and love. I used a spectrum of colours to reflect the diverse perspectives and experiences worldwide, reminding us of the richness of human diversity. In advocating for unity across political views, sexual orientations, races, nationalities, religions, and genders, the artwork champions stronger relationships, increased trust, and a more harmonious society for all.
