Artist Statement

In my work, a girl appears mimicking the pose of a ballet dancer atop the ruins of war. Her actions symbolize hope, urging us to understand their situation and provide assistance to preserve their hope. Dancing ballet amidst the backdrop of rubble and destruction, she gracefully performs beautiful movements. Her courage and passion remind us of the existence of hope. It is our responsibility to instill hope in those who demonstrate such courage. Understanding their hardship and ensuring they do not lose hope is crucial. Our efforts and compassion will hold significant meaning for them. Even amid the ruins of war, we must believe in human strength and courage, preparing to share their future together. The ballet of this young girl symbolizes the vitality of art within a broken world. We must act to preserve her hope.
