"They can take your possessions, one by one, but your knowledge and education can't be undone"
quote by: Melinda Nguyen, Fairfax, Virginia
When we created this piece, we were focused on how each of us is unique and wonderful. We hope our art demonstrates that we loved us "All" for who we are. Our differences are what makes life so much more interesting for "All" of us. Whether we have blond, brown, or purple hair, different skin tones, different likes and dislikes, different languages or beliefs - we are unique, special, and loved. This piece was created by each student creating a self portrait in collage. We then chose a number of them that we felt best represented our community. We combined them in this mural with our hearts to show that we love each other and value our unique qualities.
