Like Sardines

Artist Statement

My piece explores the emotional connections between marine and freshwater life and the human experience. Oceans, rivers, and lakes each sustain their own communities, both the environments themselves and the living beings within them, constantly changing, just as human emotions, struggles, and world events do. Through my work, I aim to create a sense of relevance and connection, allowing viewers, including myself, to see themselves reflected in the piece.
