Artist Statement

In this piece, people of all ages, genders, and abilities are shown quietly enjoying artwork in what looks like a museum. I wanted to create a scene where everyone could simply be present, no one standing out, no one left out. To me, a truly open space isn’t just a physical location. It represents the kind of society we should be working toward, where no one is treated differently because of who they are. While the setting may look like a gallery, the message goes beyond that. I hope it reminds us that our attitudes and perceptions should also be open. Inclusion isn’t about offering special treatment; it’s about not making someone feel “different” in the first place. Just like this shared space, our thinking should make room for everyone naturally and without conditions.
