Artist Statement

Unequal Steps' shows a non-disabled person riding up an escalator with ease, while on the other side, a wheelchair user is struggling to go up a ramp, being helped by someone pushing them. Through this contrast, the piece visually highlights the inequality between disabled and non-disabled individuals.
