"Dulling someone else's pencil will not make yours any sharper."

The main idea of this artwork is to show that people of all kinds create our world and contribute to peace. The broken, small, and long pencils represent different people. A child is drawing the world in this piece, symbolizing that peace is built by people of diverse backgrounds, regardless of skin tone or nationality. The work also explores the national costumes of several countries. I began by sketching it in black and white, then added color, shadows, and highlights.
