Embracing Our Differences is a Southwest Florida nonprofit celebrating individuality and shared humanity through art and education. Our annual juried exhibition features thought-provoking artwork from around the world, sparking conversations about understanding and acceptance. Additionally, our comprehensive educational programs engage students of all ages, providing them with the tools to critically examine their own biases and build empathy for others. Through interactive workshops, teacher training, and curriculum development, we equip educators to create inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
Through arts and education, we inspire kindness and respect.
A world where differences are embraced and valued.
We respectfully acknowledge that we are gathered on the traditional homelands and ancestral territories of the Seminole Tribe of Florida as well as the ancient tribes of the Calusa, Uzita and Tocobaga peoples. We also acknowledge the local freedom-seeking community called Angola, and the people later known as Black Seminoles.
We honor the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations. This calls us to commit to continuing to learn how to be better stewards of the land we inhabit as well.
