Parent Advisory Council

Application Deadline - August 30

EOD is excited to launch a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) to create a two-way street of communication between Sarasota County parents and our organization.

This program is generously sponsored by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.

What does this mean for you?

Stay Informed: Learn more about the programs EOD provides for students and educators in our community.

Share Your Thoughts: Provide valuable feedback that helps us tailor programs to better meet the needs and interests of our school communities.

Be Heard: Discuss potential challenges and work together to find solutions that enhance the impact of our programs.

Who Should Participate

PAC parent/guardian participants should have at least one child enrolled in a public, charter, private, virtual, home school, or personalized education program within Sarasota County.

Multiple parents/guardians from the same household are welcome to apply.

Dates, Times, and More

The PAC will meet four times during the 2024-2025 school year, providing opportunities for open discussion and feedback.

Wednesday, September 25 from 6:00-7:30 PM
Thursday, November 21 from 6:00-7:00 PM
Tuesday, February 11 from 6:00-7:00 PM
Monday, May 5 from 6:00 7:00 PM

Location
Gatherings will take place at EOD's Offices located across the street from Sarasota High School near the corner of Bahia Vista St. and US 41/Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.

Food and Gift Cards
Dinner will be provided at each gathering for participants.

A $50 gift card will also be provided to participants at the end of each gathering as a thank you for your time.
